Growing Together Again
Growing Together Again is a feature-length documentary focusing on the growing pains of German Unification. It features interviews with two city mayors, a US ambassador, an orchestra conductor, and musicians and professors who have witnessed the collapse of East Germany and its ongoing reconstruction. The documentary also follows the life of a former East German woman who was raised at the foot of the Berlin Wall and is now an influential city councilwoman. The ongoing unification process has helped Germany deal with national crises – like the Covid-19 pandemic – in constructive ways.
Growing Together Again will be completed in 2027.
